History and Abstract
The explanations of origin of modern baseball are diverse. Some people believed that it originated from the British cricket in 15th century, however, most insisted that it began in the United States. In 1845 the first baseball club was established in New York and was determined by Cartwright to assure the specifications of the site and to make specific competition rules. Baseball has become the official event in the 2013 East Asian Games firstly and only set the male project. Among the competition members, South Korea, Japan, Taipei are the strong baseball teams which had taken part in the Olympic Games for many times. In 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, a total of eight teams participated in the competition, each of Asia and America team had three to gain the best six. The semi-finals and finals were held between Asia and America team, South Korea gained the champion and Japan won the fourth. Chinese Taipei and Canada won the fourth and fifth respectively. The baseball game project first become the official event in the 2013 East Asian games, in which Korea, Japan, Taipei are all belong to the world strong teams.
Watching Etiquettes
- Baseball is an outdoor ball game which needs to offend and defend each other. The goal of both sides is to win more scores than the other. The audience had better know about baseball game basic rules before watching the game to find the interesting and exciting place.
Like other intensive ball games, audience of watching baseball game may be quite enthusiastic, but must control this enthusiasm into a rational way. The audience can organize cheerleaders for their favorite team hype, but need to control to a good sense of rhythm, and had better not blindly cried and yelling. The moment of hitting is the most nervous, at that time athletes focused all the attention at this moment, therefore, had better not make noise. The audiences can heartily applause after hitting ball. The rising of the audience mood will help to infect athletes to let them play best. The cheers will be on top if appears wonderful home run.
