“Everybody should abide by civilized etiquette, especially during the East Asian Games, to show to the world the image of Tianjinese…” At the Drum-tower, Qin Qingzhu, an image ambassador of urban civilization is publicizing to the passers the knowledge of civilized etiquette. On October 10, 2013 image ambassadors of urban civilized etiquette officially started their job to spread to the residents’ civility and publicize the East Asian Games. They became models of “Beautiful Tiajinese”.

Tianjin Train Station, the Binjiang Road, the Ancient Cultural Street, Great Alley, Nanshi Food Street… Between Oct. 10th to 12th, 20 civilized etiquette demonstration stations are established all over the city to serve as the platform for the ambassadors to pass urban civilization on by directing ways for people, etc. In such a way, the event of the East Asian Games and the concept of beautiful Tianjin are publicized. The ambassadors promote the activity of “Being a civilized and polite Tianjinese” widely, and thus make their contribution to the success of the 6th East Asian Games.
