Flowery August, full of peace and friendship, we are looking forward to 2005 Vanke World Water Ski Championships which will be held at beautiful city Tianjin that a pearl on the banks of Bohai sea. The top water skiers from all over the world will show their brilliant talents here. On behalf of Tianjin municipal people’s government and 10 million Tianjin people, I’d like to extend our warmest welcome to the skiers, coaches, judges, officials of the IWSF to our city.

Water Skiing, an exciting sport, mixes with human wisdom and beautiful nature. Because of the coming of our new and old water ski enthusiast, I believe that we will know each other very well, culture will be exchanged, friendship will be enhanced and the theme of peace will be promoted. Moreover, the competition will bring us its largest scale, highest level, most quintessential skills and wonderful visual enjoyment to Tianjin also to the whole world.
